I'm a clinical counsellor but I counsel you like a human being, you're not another number.  I'm extremely straightforward and counsel with compassion. We've all had some sort of journey. There is no judgement, and we are all the same colour blood.

How many counsellors have you been to? Have you ever felt like just another number? Do you feel like they are actually listening to you?
You are not a number! Your life is very important! You deserve the best!

Everyone has life experiences, we've all had some sort of journey. There is no judgement, and we are all the same colour blood. Everyone has a past, everyone has something that has affected them in their lives, good bad or indifferent. The choice is whether you live in the here and now or let your past dictate your future. Change is not something to be afraid of, but something to embrace. Living in the past creates depression. Trying to predict your future creates anxiety. All we can do is really give it all we have for the here and now!

Life experiences, and education are only a part of being the counsellor you deserve in your life. Someone who can relate, hear you, be your accountability partner to see you through, take that step to the next chapter in your life. One who is able to understand where you've been and help you gain the the knowledge and tools to help you understand what a different path a new journey would look like and how to achieve that.

What makes a great counsellor is yes education but life experiences so you're able to understand where our client is coming from
A client should never be considered just another number.

Everyone has life experiences, everyone has a past, everyone has something that has affected them in their lives, good bad or indifferent. The choice is whether you live in the here and now or let your past dictate your future. Change is not something to be afraid of but something to embrace.

Started counselling because I was interested in why I developed anxiety. I questioned whether I would turn bi polar like my mo
Where did the depressions and anxiety come from and I wasn't getting the answers from doctors and counsellors I was seeing. By the time I had graduated high school I knew that became a passion of mine because of seeing my mom suffer, seeing friends dying and dad being a workaholic. I wanted to understand more of the science behind it. Was I born with it, was it inherited
One of the things that had a major impact on my life is when my son got into a mountain biking accident and acquired a traumatic brain injury. From there seeing how he mental health industry works from a survivors point of view. No amount of education can ever give you that. The trials and tribulations of watching from the inside and feeling what other people have had to experience was when I decided to reopen my own private practice. Because I felt as though there wasn't enough being done. I didn't want people to feel like just a number. You are with so much more than just another number, just another face. You have so much more to give than just that. You can only hit a dead end so many times, and this is where I felt I could help educate both sides.  That is how I got here today.
I travelled a lot with my dad as I was raised with him and mom was bi polar. By the age of 13 I had traveled all over the world, seen different cultures and seen how they lived. At age 13 I developed anxiety and couldn't travel, at 14 I dropped out of school because of anxiety. When I graduated I had experienced life quite a bit so I started looking into criminology, sociology,
By the end of it I decided to specialize in psychology which eventually led to me having my masters in psychology after 12 years of schooling, and I've never looked back because of the experiences in my life and the wonderful clients I've able to work with
