Jerry has been married to Nancy since 1967. They have three children and seven grandchildren. He as a Master of Divinity Degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in Creve Coeur and a Master of Education in General Counseling for the University of Missouri in St. Louis. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and has been a counselor for about 20 years. He believes the counseling relationship should be the safest place in the world for his clients. To move toward having lives and marriages with which we are delighted, we must trust we are SAFE enough to share our deepest feelings. This requires that we know that we will not be condemned or shamed. This also requires that Jerry be utterly sensitive to how vulnerable we are when we open up in this way. Jerry offers counsel based on things he practices in his own life and marriage and has found to be effective, that are biblically SOUND and that are consistent with reliable research findings. He seeks never simple to apply a Christian veneer to secular thinking. He is committed to offer only what flows directly out of the heart and core of the Good News and is entirely harmonious with Scripture's clear teaching about how we are to love God, ourselves and one another.
