I am so glad you are here and that you are taking this step toward making yourself a priority.
Who am I?
I am Jessica Condon, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be a counsellor. I was very young when I saw the difference one kind person can have on an individual and a family—on a lifetime, really. It is so meaningful to me that I can now provide that safe, judgement-free space for others. So, welcome to In Bloom Counselling, I really am so glad you are here.
How can I help you? 
My clients often come to me feeling like the weight of the world is on their shoulders and that every decision they make creates a ripple that negatively touches on those around them. Their thoughts are overwhelmingly negative, and it can be hard to see any positives at all. Work and relationships suffer, and their relationship with themselves is put to the side. Many clients are experiencing loss, as well. We have all lost so much since 2020 including what ‘normal’ means. Many individuals have lost a sense of self, jobs, homes, loved ones, community…I am here to witness your grief, as grief must be witnessed. Together, we can work toward creating meaning from these painful times.
How can counselling benefit you?
Through counselling, you may notice that you are beginning to establish boundaries and standards for yourself because you are becoming important to the person whose opinion matters--you. Relationships can shift positively and you may notice a substantial decrease in intrusive negative thoughts. You will learn to put on your own oxygen mask before reaching for others’ masks; you will learn to establish balance in your work, relationships and personal life. My training in the Gottman method and Emotionally Focused Therapy allow me to give skills to individuals that may benefit them in all their relationships.
 I believe that you are the expert in your life; I am here to stand beside you to help you reach your goals, I am not here to stand in front of you and tell you what to do. When we work together, we are on the same team. Team You. To be a support to you, I primarily use these methods:
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy
  • Attachment theory
  • Grief work
  • Gottman method (Formal training Level 2)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
  • Solution Focused Therapy
