Through my Private Practice I provide unique, effective and personal counselling services to Couples and Individuals in the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Langley and Coquitlam areas.
Using a “whole person” Holistic approach, I combine traditional
counselling and psychotherapy with body psychotherapy and life
coaching in an effective and personal environment. We work together to
achieve physical and spiritual changes in your life and relationships.
The mind/body connection is the key to my work, both with individuals and with couples.
I specialize in Marriage and Couples, as well as Individual work, such as Depression, Chronic Muscle and Body Pain, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, Post Traumatic Stress, Body Image Issues.
One of the many ways that makes my work effective and life changing is
that I do not always work in the typical “hour long” format. Regular
length sessions are available as well as extended length “intensive
sessions” that allow for more focused work and quicker results.
I prefer to work with clients who
are fully committed to change. It takes a willingness to open your
heart and fully immerse yourself in the process. I can help facilitate profound change,
growth and happiness in your life.
Clients are expected to touch base between sessions so the focus and forward momentum of our work is not lost. Homework, journaling, check in sheets, emails etc. are used
Sessions can be the normal 1 hour sessions or range from 1-8 hours long.

Counselling can be many things.
It can be a brief education and skill building experience or it can be a journey of self discovery, growth and healing.
believe counselling should be an active experience. This may involve
challenges and looking at different things, as well as looking at
things in a different way.
I strive to
create a warm positive caring environment and relationship with my
clients which I believe is at the core of helping and healing.
A married 48 year old father of 2 boys, I achieve a work / life
balance by being self employed through my own private practice as well
as collaborating with other counsellors in my area, and volunteering
with various community based agencies.
I graduated from Vancouver Community College in 1999 and have also
trained in working with Shock Trauma, Hakomi Body Centered Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, massage therapy and many other techniques. I am also trained in the use of Gottman Marital Therapy for couples. I continue to actively increase my
education with many classes and workshops.
I deeply care about my clients and strive to provide the understanding to assist my clients to better their own lives.
