...counselling can be of benefit to you.
No matter what the struggle, it can often be difficult in today's fast paced, high stress lifestyle to slow down long enough to connect with your inner knowing or wisdom. I can assist you to do just that. I can also provide you with the support and feedback to enhance your relationship with yourself and with others, empowering you to reach your identified life goals.
I specialize in working with unresolved grief and loss, post-traumatic stress, complex trauma, and related issues such as addictions, disordered eating and body image; my practice is not limited to those issues. I use a variety of treatment modalities dependant on your needs.
I have over two decades experience as a counsellor in healthcare and corrections, addiction treatment settings. I hold a Master of Arts degree from Royal Roads University and completed Addiction Counsellor certification at Vancouver Community College. I am a Focusing-Oriented Therapist and Certifying Coordinator with the Focusing Institute in New York, having trained with Shirley Turcotte in Vancouver.
