Welcome, I am glad you are here.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor based in Los Gatos and I provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. I also offer sessions throughout California via teletherapy.

Life can be filled with challenges and difficulties. Many people struggle with pain from the past or the present. I offer a safe place where you can work through obstacles and gain a clearer understanding of yourself and what could bring greater meaning and satisfaction to your life. Together we can explore issues that may impact your well-being and your relationships. This may include help with depression, anxiety, communication with others, grief, loss, life transitions, changes in health or your personal life, or working towards overcoming emotional pain and trauma.

I am here to help you with your challenges. Together we will find ways to move through whatever difficulties you are encountering. My approach stems from a place of warmth, understanding, compassion, practicality, and non-judgment to support you as you seek the changes that you would like to make in your life. I offer personalized sessions tailored to each of my client’s individual needs to help them attain the personal growth they are striving for in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.

I bring a great deal of both life and professional experience to my work with you. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for fifteen years in the Human Resources field in high-tech. After taking time out to raise children and run a small business I decided to pursue a second career. I had been thinking about becoming a therapist since I started college the first time around and I decided to follow that long-held interest.

Through my own professional journey, I am now grateful to be working in a field to which I feel so connected, and I feel privileged to support clients as they progress towards growth and healing.

In addition to my current position in private practice, I have provided school-based counseling for the Santa Clara Union School District and have worked at a nonprofit agency in collaboration with children, teenagers, adults, couples, families, and groups.

My plan is to work collaboratively with you as you seek and work toward changes that you would like to see in your life. My overarching therapeutic influences come from the following modalities: Rogerian, Adlerian, Narrative, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength Based and Positive Psychology. These modalities have all been useful for me to draw on when helping my clients.

I aim to meet clients where they are at and work with them in a way that may be most comfortable for them. Hence, selecting an approach to work with you that will best fit your needs or most resonate with you is my goal.

Issues I treat include, but are not limited to:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Grief and Loss
• Trauma
• Health Challenges/Cancer
• Life Transitions
• PTSD
• Relationship Difficulties
• Stress Management
• Low Self-Esteem

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and often can be found in nature, hiking, exploring and kayaking.

Every person has the capacity to heal. At times accessing your own strengths and resiliency can be hard to do on your own; that is where therapy can help. Shall we start your journey to more of the life you imagine today?

Please give me a call so we can discuss your unique situation, I’d like to help.
