The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance Chapter in Boulder offers a number of resources, including support groups, designed to aid those rising to meet the challenges in their lives.2 The alliance offers support groups both to those suffering from mental illness and to their family and friends. Current Initiatives

The 2013 September floods in Boulder may have receded, but they have left behind traumatized residents.4 The City of Boulder Human Services Department, in conjunction with MHP, provides drop-in help centers for those experiencing mental or emotional crises.5 The centers are staffed by professionals with the skill, experience, and knowledge required to aid citizens experiencing insomnia, depression, distress, and anxiety as a result of the disaster.
