Sometimes life throws us curveballs that we cannot handle on our own. Kelly Rudolph at Foundations Counseling understands how overwhelming these times can be. She partners with her clients in the therapeutic journey, and helps them to develop skills and identify tools that can make life happier and healthier. Kelly uses her education and experience in the world of mental health and psychology to identify and break through what may be holding her client back.
Kelly believes that an approach based upon communication and gentle guidance will assist you in developing the necessary skills to achieve your personal and life goals. Kelly’s clients gain an awareness about themselves that helps them acquire the confidence and knowledge needed in order to grow into the person they hope to become.
Kelly has a wide variety of experience, especially working with children and their families. Working in community health and inpatient settings provided Kelly with techniques and tricks that work well with children. She is also skilled in helping parents navigate through whatever their child may be facing. Families that are blended, adoptive, or going through a major life change benefit from Kelly’s gentle yet enthusiastic approach to working with children and her professional and understanding approach with their parents. Kelly often uses Play Therapy with children to help them feel safe and able to open up. She has many years of experience working with kids, and can help them with anything from school issues to trauma and abuse recovery.
In addition to children and families, Kelly loves to work with adult individuals and couples. She strives to make her clients feel heard and understood so that they can work together on bettering their lives. Whether you’re struggling with attachment, anxiety, depression, trauma, communication, intimacy, self-esteem, or a variety of other challenges, Kelly will accept you for who you are and help you to be who you want to be.
Kelly individualizes her approach to each client and situation drawing on techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Neurofeedback, and Biofeedback. Her clients benefit from her warm personality coupled with her psychological background. Kelly makes sure that her clients feel safe, welcome, and cared for in her office. Seeing her clients happy is her ultimate goal!
If you, your child, or your family are in need of counseling, Kelly is ready and willing to help you take the next step towards achieving the life you see for yourself. Call today for your free initial consultation.
