At LIVE Wellness Center we work to find the counselor that is the right fit for you. We have three counselors who have diverse backgrounds. Through their therapeutic work, our counselors have seen their clients improve coping skills, decrease ADHD symptoms, work through traumas, eliminate anxiety and depressive symptoms, improve their behaviors, increase academic performance, increase self-esteem, develop positive communication skills, improve family relationships, and find relief from mental health symptoms.
Charity Ritter MSW LISW received a Master’s of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She received her clinical training working with adults at Riverside Methodist Hospital in the Psychiatric Inpatient unit. Charity went on to work at Rosemont Center where she gained experience treating children and families with a range of mental health concerns. She also became the main therapist on a treatment team for sexually reactive and traumatized children. She then worked for the Buckeye Ranch treating high intensity cases and conducting diagnostic assessments. She currently is an adjunct professor of social work at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She is a culturally competent clinician who enjoys empowering individuals and families to find the results they need. Charity has had a passion and drive to become a counselor since she was in a young girl. Charity married her husband in 2006 and they had their first child in 2012. She has been serving children and young adults in ministry for many years. She is active in her church and enjoys spending time with her family.
Bridget Perrin MSW LISW-S received a Master’s of Social Work Degree from The Ohio State University and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a supervisory designation. She received her clinical training at The Village Network working with treatment foster care youth. She then worked at Rosemont Center where she gained experience working with youth and their families with varied issues. Bridget also worked in several nursing care and psychiatric facilities. She is experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. She also has experience as an Associate Supervisor working for The Buckeye Ranch and worked closely with the Somali Population. Bridget married her husband in 1995. Bridget also became a step-mother of five children and a grandchild at the time of her marriage. Bridget considers herself to be an advocate for, and has a special love for, blended families. She is involved in the praise and worship ministry and has a heart toward children and women’s ministry. Bridget has worked in ministry for many years before becoming a Licensed Independent Social Worker and counselor.
Sharyn Koch MA PC ATR earned her Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, OH. She is a licensed counselor and a Registered Art Therapist. Before earning her counseling degree, she was an elementary school teacher working with inner city children. From there, she then worked as an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapist with children with Autism ages 3-17. Sharyn spent time working at Rosemont Center as a group therapist. She currently works as an individual and family counselor at the Buckeye Ranch. She is working towards her clinical counseling license. She has received extensive training and experience in a variety of treatments including Art Therapy. Sharyn has a passion for helping children and families through Art Therapy. She is married and has a daughter.
