Current Initiatives

The Mental Health and School Collaboration Initiative is a grant-funded program that seeks to bring comprehensive mental health services to students in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, including Schaumburg. The initiative's funding has been applied toward mental health awareness activities for students, as well as activities that foster the development of socio-emotional learning. Awareness events, guest speakers, and classroom presentations round out the list of activities designed to improve childhood mental health.5
