Sometimes life is difficult. We are unable to overcome the issues that are plaguing our life. While some may be able to address similar issues, they don't have the same past experiences that are holding them in a negative place.

About Ladner, B.C.

Hawthorne, Delta Manor, Holly, Port Guichon, Nelson Grove

Ladner was named after one of its founding families and remains a small town with great charm. Ladner was created as a fishing village on the Fraser River and is part of the Municipality of Delta, including Tsawwassen, and North Delta.  Ladner's Landing became the thriving centre of Delta's farming and fishing community with visitor’s coming from surrounding areas to enjoy the crops.  Counselling Ladner BC is a mutual process between client and counselor where specific goals are developed for directed change.  A dyking system alleviated flooding that had plagued Delta farmers previously, allowing them to produce bountiful crops from the fertile soil. Canneries located on the Fraser River provided seasonal employment for many of Ladner's Chinese residents. While Ladner is expanding in population a town house development has moorage for the residents and the floating home development of Canoe Pass Village is very popular for its location.

Originally, there was only ferry access to Richmond, the city which today has the international airport. However, the construction of the George Massy Tunnel under the Fraser River in 1959 offered a permanent connection.  Ladner and the neighbouring community of Tsawwassen make up the region of South Delta. The municipal center of Delta is situated in Ladner and contains the new Municipal Hall, a Health Center, Justice Building, Transit Exchange, Ice Arena, and Swimming Pool.  Delta was inhabited by the Tsawwassen Indians, a band of the Coast Salish, before Europeans arrived to settle with their skill set.  The Indians lived above high tide level on the beach near the Tsawwassen Reserve.  The Tsawwassen First Nations people came to this area to obtain food.   The most popular religion in Ladner is Christian.  Counselling Ladner BC helps individuals and families move through transitions in their lives.  In 1858 two British gold seekers, enroute to the Caribou gold fields, were attracted by Delta's agricultural potential.  Thomas and William Ladner returned in 1868 and each settled on 160 acres for farming. By 1879 present day Ladner had been staked out and was granted municipal status.

Ladner is located in British Columbia, Canada.  The population of Ladner is 22,193 people. Ladner therapists serve postal code: V4K.
