So often, we find ourselves at a crossroads in life. We are either transitioning into a new phase or are completely unhappy with where we are at. It is during these times of stress, anxiety and confusion that we have the opportunity to rise, recreate and redefine who we are and what we want our lives to look like. Redirecting your energy and reducing the amount of related stress will help you build healthy relationships, increase your confidence and improve your self-esteem.

My approach is psychodynamic, goal oriented and solution-focused and is tailored to each individual person. Whether you are an adult or college student and whether you want to focus on self-esteem, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, interpersonal conflict and communication, managing expectations, or redefining your purpose, I can help.

By combining contemplation, discussion and various tools from CBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy and coaching, we will look past the obvious so you can find new ideas, strategies and inspirations. Once we identify the stressors, you can then acquire and cultivate the skills you need to function appropriately and happily.
It is through this journey, that  you will discover new things and experience your own personal and professional breakthroughs. These events, in turn, will help each of us achieve a level of happiness and satisfaction beyond expectation.
I have been in practice for more than 20 years and am dedicated to helping individuals find their own identity while managing their need for independence. Whether it is anxiety, conflict resolution, communication, self-esteem, or managing expectations, I tailor my approach to each unique situation.
I received my Master's Degree from Columbia University School of Social Work, an Advanced Certificate in
Social Work from New York University and worked for many years in community organizations, in private practice, and as a pharmaceutical sales representative.  I also became an Independent Educational Consultant and a Certified Professional Coach to reinforce my ability to help others as a life strategist.  In addition, I am a member of NASW, an Associate Member of IECA and the Founder of the not-for-profit Cohen Esophageal Cancer Initiative.

Working with me is non-judgmental, collaborative and inspirational.

I am ready to help you “Explore the Possibilities and Achieve Your Potential.”
