Feeling stressed or overwhelmed? Do you feel stuck with certain issues or emotions? Are certain situations causing fear or anxiety? Is a feeling of loss getting in the way of everyday life? Are you finding that certain feelings or thoughts limit your life?

I am a registered psychotherapist working with adult clients in individual therapy. My Approach:
My approach to therapy is holistic. I combine talk therapy with body-centred techniques and mindfulness. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, involves the innate link between what we think and what we feel in our bodies as an important piece of our life story. Together we focus on what happens - on a body level - that connects to how you think or feel about a situation. This provides new meaning that we might not find otherwise.
There is much wisdom in the body and tapping into it opens up a new way of looking at a problem. Our posture, gestures, eye gaze, movement and facial expressions all tell a part of our life story. It is our unique "somatic" or body narrative. This narrative is invaluable and provides a much-needed avenue of self-knowledge and growth that leads to change. I also use EMDR Therapy (eye-movement, de-sensitization and reprocessing) for anxiety and trauma.
Whether you are giving meaning to past experiences or focusing on present day problems, I would like to offer my psychotherapy services and help you reach your therapeutic goals. Feel free to email or phone to schedule an initial consult.
