I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the area of mental health. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto and prior to that completed my undergraduate studies at McGill
University in Canada. During that time, I held internships in a
psychiatric hospital and a family therapy clinic. Having spent the last
15 years as a Psychiatric Social Worker for the Los Angeles Unified
School District, working in various schools throughout Los Angeles, my interests
lie mostly with the adolescent and young adult population. I work with teens who may be experiencing challenges with their peers, strained relationships with parents/families as well as other school related issues. This is can include, but is not limited to anxiety and depression. I also work with young adults who are struggling with life transitions to adulthood. Some examples include issues that arise around leaving the home, going to college and embarking on a career.
personal interest in the field of infertility has led me to expand my
practice to issues regarding all aspects of pregnancy including recurrent pregnancy loss, Assisted Reproductive Technology and post-partum issues. This is an area of
expertise that I am highly dedicated to and am eager to help intended
parents who are struggling on this difficult journey.
My style of therapy is interactive, empathetic, and solution-focused. My aim is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients
effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate
complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly
personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and
understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on
their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to
I believe that therapy is something everyone can benefit from at some point in their lives. Often times the stigma of "therapy" precludes people from taking that initial step or leap of faith. However, once they do, they usually question why it took them so long when they quickly realize the benefits. My practice allows for a safe, empathetic and non-judgemental space for my clients to express their personal concerns, their fears and the source of their discomfort. I work collaboratively with my clients with the ultimate goal to help them live happier, more fulfilling lives.
have supervised social work interns and am trained in Cognitive
Behavioral Intervention Therapy for Trauma in Schools. I am a certified

staff and administrators on mental health issues. I am able to provide
online therapy in addition to office hours in West Los Angeles.
