I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. I believe that effective counselling is best seen through a strong relationship between the client and therapist, that is built with empathy, compassion, and trust. I see strength as a characteristic that resides in all persons. It can however, be difficult to see during times of hardship and vulnerability. I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients through their journey in making positive changes to live happy and fulfilled lives. I also believe that this work can be best done through a supportive, safe environment that is free of judgement.

Sometimes we find ourselves in tough life situations. Unforeseeable changes occur within our relationships and day-to-day work that leave behind painful memories, cause worries, stress and anxiety. My aim is to empower and motivate clients to gain better insight of their self, emotions, and the world around them in a way that can build their resiliency and reach their larger potential.

I understand that every individual is unique. Therefore, I work hard with the client to develop a plan with strategies that align with the needs of each person's therapeutic journey. I draw upon an integrative approach that utilizes, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Mindfulness based practices. When working with children, I draw techniques from Play Therapy. This allows children to feel safe enough to open up and share their stories and emotions.

I have experience working with a diverse population with a large scope of mental health concerns. I work with adults, teens and children.

A main component that leads to effective therapy is based on the relationship between the client/therapist relationship. I offer a free 20-minute consultation. This is to help determine whether I am a good fit for you.

Following the recommenced guidelines set out by the Psychologists' Association of Alberta, the recommended fee is $200 per 50 minutes. Sliding scale options may be available upon request.
