 Counselling Services
Are you struggling with anxiety, worry, panic attacks, depression, anger, stress, relationship problems, or in transition? Do you wish to feel greater joy and happiness in your life? I can help you discover powerful tools that will improve your situation. Whether you are seeking counselling services for yourself or someone you care about, it is most effective when you work with a therapist you feel comfortable with and trust. Talking with the right person can offer a new perspective on your situation and help guide you towards the changes you want to create in your life.
In my practice, I focus on respecting the choices you make, while listening supportively and without judgment so we can work together to turn things around. Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, I use evidence-based strategies and techniques that work quickly and effectively to leave you feeling more hopeful. Working with individuals, couples and adolescents, I offer a safe and confidential space to share your stories and concerns, experience relief from your symptoms, resolve current life problems and make meaningful, long-lasting changes.

About Me
I am a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers. After graduating from York University where I earned a Master's Degree in Social Work, I completed training in various therapeutic models including:
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety and Depression
  • Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Mindfulness
  • Addictions Counselling
  • Emotion Focused Therapy

I also have over 15 years experience in supportive counselling, helping people change and reach their goals.
My Approach
Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical, short-term form of talk therapy that can improve your mood and your situation quickly. It is goal oriented and focuses on solving your current problems while also teaching skills to improve unhelpful thinking and behaviours.
CBT focuses on the problems that come up in your day-to-day life. CBT helps to examine how you make sense of what is happening around you and how these perceptions affect the way you feel and behave.
When using CBT, we will do lots of problem-solving and borrow from a variety of psycho-therapeutic modalities to help you improve your communication skills, experience relief from your symptoms and make meaningful, long-lasting changes in your life.
