At Foundations Counseling, Steph Kiehl works with a variety of clients from all backgrounds seeking a wide array of services. Steph works to support the general mental health and wellness of her clients by helping guide them through, anxiety, depression, and self esteem issues. Steph also has experience treating clients who are struggling with addiction, as well as individuals with gender identity issues. Steph also works with couples, providing marriage and relationship counseling. She strives to help couples with communication and intimacy issues as well and conflict resolution. Steph also works with families to strengthen bonds and build relationships based on trust and support.
Steph also offers guidance during general life changes such as during job or geographical transitions. She works with each of her clients to help guide them through the various stages of life and be their happiest and healthiest selves. Steph seeks to provide all of her clients with hope and the tools they need to navigate all of life’s challenges. She loves watching her clients grow and gain the confidence to achieve all of their goals.
Steph Kiehl has a Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration and a Bachelor of Social Work Degree, both from Virginia Commonwealth University. She utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Empowerment Theory. Steph has worked with many diverse populations and takes pride in her ability to connect and adapt her therapeutic style for clients from all walks of life.
When not working with clients, Steph enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time with friends and family, and participates in a wide array of interests ranging from being an enthusiast for live music, exercising, and always looking for her next favorite restaurant.
