I received my Child and Youth Worker Certificate from St. Clair College and my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, Bachelor of Social Work Degree, and Master of Social Work Degree all from the University of Windsor. Between 1982 and 1984 I attended Training in Redecision Therapy at the Centre for Family and Group Therapy. I attended post graduate training in Brief Therapy with Families, Couples and Individuals at the Brief Therapy Clinical Extern Program in 1992 and 1993.
My career over the last 40 years has focused on both direct clinical service and the management of services in the areas of Child and Adult Mental Health and Addictions. I have worked in children’s and adult mental services, family service agencies, correctional services, child protective services and violence against women services. Since 1982 I have been a frequent presenter and have conducted training workshops for professionals (including police services) teaching intervention and program development.
My focus is to support healthy growth based on your capacity for change and development. Through our exploration together I will help you integrate a new understanding of yourself with the goal to improve your functioning in areas where you were previously constrained. I believe that human beings evolve and change. This is a normal and desirable part of our human experience.
