Tricia earned a Master's Degree in
Education and a Master's Degree in Counseling from UAB, and a BS in Education
from Auburn University. She is a licensed counselor in Alabama. Tricia is also
credentialed as a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor by the
International Board of Christian Counselors. At present she is a member of the
Alabama Counseling Association, the Alabama Mental Health Association, and the
American Association of Christian Counselors. Tricia continues her education by
attending workshops and seminars on various subjects to continually update her
knowledge in various areas of counseling..
Tricia and her husband met while they were in undergraduate school at Auburn
University. They have been married for 30+ years, have two sons, a
daughter-in-law and two precious young grandchildren. Tricia's first career was
in the teaching field as a library media specialist and over those years she
worked with students from kindergarten through high school. Tricia states her
career as a counselor is her passion and that she believes the life experiences
prior to counseling prepared her in multiple areas of life as well as her
graduate counseling education.
