Every patient admitted to Highland Ridge’s drug and/or alcohol detox or rehab programs receives a comprehensive history and physical exam, an addiction assessment, a psycho-social evaluation, and a comprehensive mental health evaluation when indicated. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy will teach people with addition trust, coping skills, problem solving skills, and how to set clear and firm boundaries.
