Stress & Anxiety

Philip Kolba, MA

Psychotherapist

Everyone experiences anxiety at some point, but for some the anxiety is so frequent or intense that it interferes with their lives or even triggers panic attacks. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help my clients get a sense of control over their own anxiety. We collaborate to learn skills to reduce the frequency or intensity of the anxious feelings, to tolerate the anxiety when it does occur so they can still function through it, and to practice habits that reduce stress and improve general mental health.

Arash Kameli, MA, CCC

Certified Canadian Counsellor

Anxiety and stress can slow us down; make us feel tired and constantly "on edge". Chronic stress may eventually leave you "burnt out" & constantly exhausted to the point of shutting down and not being able to function on a daily basis. This may affect your health and your life in general. There is help. You do not have to live this way or have to go through this struggle alone. You can discover ways and means to go about your days in a relaxed and focused frame of mind. I have helped clients carefully identify sources of external and internal stress, uncovering things that they were not aware were causing so many emotional pressures, and then worked through them towards recovery.
