Your career is the second most important event in your life. It can shape you, and give you a sense of identity and fulfillment. But you might find yourself in the wrong profession, sometimes feeling more drained than energized. Assisting you in your search for the right profession is sometimes as easy as beginning with the outcomes in mind. I can help you focus on attaining those goals.

I do not do career councelling in the sense of giving vocational tests and setting people up with head hunters. Instead, I work as I do with any other life decision. I help the person find "where their heart is" and what sort of career or work will make them feel more alive and happy, as opposed to what career might leave them feeling bored, full of burnout, or resentful. These latter types of career "choices"are inclined to be selected by people who feel a pressure by parental or authority figures to excell in areas that the OTHERS are excited about, but which never "lit the pilot light" of the person doing the career. Many gifted children's futures get usurped by upwardly mobile parents
