My approach to clients undergoing career issues begins with an assessment to determine the type of problem, including lack of direction, negative performance reviews, workload anxiety, lack of advancement, or the need for a transition. Once we've established the priority, treatment includes setting goals together and developing a therapeutic relationship, including coaching, to support and maintain the client's progress.

I will assist you on your journey in choosing your path. Together we can examine your desires and options. We will look at how others in your life, including your family, are playing apart in your process of making a decision in your life. Lets figure out what your passion in life is, what lights you up and that will make you happy, after all you are the most important person in your search for what adds meaning to your life.

Having worked as an employment specialist, I consider myself an expert in all types of career counseling. While not a "head hunter", I have amassed a wealth of information as to how job search, obtain an interview, execute a successful interview and maintain a position. I have worked extensively with the N.Y. State Education Dept. (Access-vr) to assist clients with mental health disabilities to succeed as individuals and valued employees. Partnering with employers and on the job coaching has been the key to my success. My belief is that everyone can work and that it can be a process but can change someone's life.

I leverage a solution-based approach to clearly outline your primary challenge, work through an exercise to meditate on and define your future state and then work over 8 sessions to achieve it via homework and 1:1 sessions.
