I spent six years working in the area of career development and learned a great deal about what to consider when choosing a career, or making a job change. What we do for work needs to fit with who we are. Along with this I studied work stress, job burnout and organizational processes that support good health and work–life balance. As a psychologist I am able to combine the impact of work stress and personal stress to help people make choices that consider the impact of work on their health. Work that fits with who you are can result in a better quality of life and decrease the likelihood of job stress. I can offer coaching in job searching and support people in making career changes that result in better health and enjoyment considering the realities of the ever changing world of work.
