I am a certified interpreter for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) personality inventory. If you have done the MBTI Step II inventory propery, then we can use the result to explore what kind of career may best suit your personality preference. Sometimes, when we are working in a career which does not match our personality preference, we may find that it is difficult to handle the work or the working environment. It may create stress, anxiety and has a negative impact on our self esteem and our self confidence.

I take a values-driven and meaning-based approach to assisting clients with important life transitions, including career change, in order to assist in navigating not only what is out there, but what is it you truly want to find. Sometimes we lose sight of where we wanted to go underneath the routine of getting by or doing what we think we should. I believe it is possible to have a job that not only fulfills your needs financially, but lines up with your purpose and potential.

My approach to career counselling includes an appreciation for the fact that work needs to include joy and purpose, or it's just a job. As I help people build skills relationally and increase self-awareness around their needs and respect for others, they will grow in confidence and reduce stress that can hijack their best version of themselves. I love to help people become more aware of their capacity and vulnerabilities, so they grow in competency. This has a way of increasing their experience of joy and purpose in the workplace or find the courage to make a change.

In our Career Coaching practice, we have found these 3 methods to be the most powerful when it comes to helping you discover your career roadmap - the right major, right talents or career. 1. Jackson Vocational Interest Survey (JVIS) is the "Career Roadmap" which will help you determine the best career fit. 2. CareerPlanner Personality Test (CPPT) is the "Personality Blueprint" which will highlight your talents, skills, strengths, weaknesses, interests and how they coincide with your career roadmap. 3. Jump Start Coaching Hour (JSCH) is the "Life Coach" who will guide you in the planning and implementing of the "Career Roadmap". All you need to do is make a small investment.
