Career Counselling is a process that may involve several sessions designed to accomplish the following: 1. Improved Self-awareness – by exploring your interests, values, skills and strengths, and personality, as they relate to career possibly through the use of targeted assessments. 2. Career research – is designed to help narrow down options. I will provide you with useful resources and have you complete information interviews with individuals doing the work. 3. Decision making and planning – Finalizing a decision and building out a transition plan (if required). From there, I help them set SMART goals – i.e. Simple, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic & Time-focused – broken down into smaller goals, so they never get discouraged, plus they get to witness and celebrate their progress every step of the way.
