Keystone Child and Family Therapy offers a unique focus on career counseling. Counseling is provided to adolescents seeking to explore who they are as individuals, what careers might interest them, and what colleges or universities might help them pursue their interests. Counseling may also focus on the anxiety and stress in starting this journey and the worry that many adolescents have over making the "right" career choice. Counseling may also be provided to parents to help support this significant milestone that adolescents embark on.

It is one thing to embark on a new career path, and a whole other to find the sweet spot of purpose, contribution, vitality and practical stability that leads to a really fulfilling vocation. The latter requires the courage to allow, shape and stay with a vision and the skills to navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys in confidence that are natural to the process. It is necessary to develop the ability to structure your own time toward your goal, maintaining the stability necessary to take new opportunities and creative risks. As a psychologist I am able to combine the impact of work stress and personal stress to help people make choices that consider the impact of work on their health. Work that fits with who you are can result in a better quality of life and decrease the likelihood of job stress.
