Our staff Christian counselor is a devout Christian personally as well as licensed counselor, and has training specifically in the integration of psychotherapy and biblical truths. I have been a Psychologist for 20 plus years. About 10 years ago, I took training in Pastoral Formation. After completing this program, I have been the chair of a Mental Health Ministry at a Catholic Church. Did you know that one of the best psychology books ever written was the Bible. In my therapy with clients who are open to their Christianity, we explore the use of their spirituality to help heal their wounds and create more fulfilled and meaningful life with " God" as the engine behind their personal power. The power of the spirit can enable tremendous personal and systemic growth and change.

Truth. There are many paths to the Truth and different Faiths that guide people on that meaningful journey. I have enormous respect for seeking the truth and finding your faith to guide you. Your values, morals, and ethics are your code to happy, healthy living. Living in line with these brings joy and contentment...always. Living OUT of line with these qualities brings distress. Explore where and how you can live more in-line with your value system and how your faith is a secure and loving nest to fall into as you do.

Though I work with many folks who are not Christian in a more secular format, I hold a special place in my heart for fellow believers. Working with Christians gives a whole new dimension as well as tools that we can use based on God's promises that are not available to people of other faiths or who are agnostic/atheists. Having the same experience of God gives an extraordinary and powerful basis to work together.

Being a Christian certainly does not keep us from experiencing hard times, emotional struggles, illnesses, or relationship pain. My goal is to help you navigate whatever challenges you may be experiencing, either individually or as a couple, in a way that strengthens your faith and reminds you of the purpose God has for your life. While it can be incredibly hard to walk as a Christian in the world today, it is my belief that God will make a way.

Christian Counseling can take you into a peaceful setting, for you to be at your inner-self. My private environment, and private office will help heal any irrational thoughts you might have. At times a commercial setting can be irritating and uncomfortable to be at peace. Certainly we might find God to be the answer, but, we have to first find ourselves and inner feelings to strenghtened any irrational thoughts to rational thoughts.
