Also, faith based strategies are very helpful in creating a happy, healthy, and successful life, so I include those in executive, business, and personal coaching as well.

Faith is such a huge part of a person and often times people feel like they are asked to divorce their spiritual health from their mental health. From my perspective this is not possible. While I am not here to replace your form of spiritual guidance, I am here to help you integrate your faith into who you are as a person. I have a background in ministry and a strong personal Christian faith as well as Biblical training. Looking at life from God's perspective provides a basis for growth and change. I have a background in ministry and missions with students in the United States, with government and diplomatic leaders in Washington, D.C and overseas in Europe. Our emotional and spiritual lives are closely connected and by focusing on both a deeper and fuller healing is possible. Our God is a relational God who is near to the brokenhearted and full of compassion. I seek to integrate His love and compassionate connection along with my own into my psychotherapy.

Like most counselors, I recognize personal problems can come about because of physiology, social-environmental influences, and psychological pressures. As a Christian counselor, I am not limited to psychological techniques or to my own human efforts and wisdom. I believe God is the real authority in counseling and He gives us the resources to change. I believe that counseling without Our Creator is operating in vanity and ineffective. My counseling goal is to advocate forgiveness from the past, strength and comfort for the present, and hope for the future. I am sensitive to the many dilemmas we face, and I am trained to identify and assist in navigating through the process of healing.
