As Christians, we are not immune to human pain and suffering. We read that “it was for freedom that Christ set us free” (Galatians 5:1, NASB), but sometimes we feel like slaves of anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or something else. So what does freedom look like for you? I invite you to begin a Christian Counseling journey, where your faith intersects with the tools of psychology in compassionate, judgment-free sessions. I learned to integrate Christian faith and psychology in my graduate training. Prior to graduate school, I worked for six years as a discipleship counselor for women in a local Christian ministry. Please contact me for more information.

Asking Jesus to lead us to the source and origin of the difficulty often brings quick and thorough healing. We ask him to uncover the beliefs that are keeping us stuck in unhealthy behaviors and replace those beliefs with His truth. This approach is completely non-judgmental and freeing. There is no condemnation, no matter what the issue, just taking responsibility for our own thoughts and actions and the pursuant changes.
