Faith is an integral part of my practice. For me, all the best counseling techniques and coping skills in the world are not enough without God. Our relationship with God can become complicated and confusing at times. Sometimes it feels like He isn't even there. It's okay to feel angry or abandoned by God. But when you turn to Him he does hear you. My counseling is not a bible study, but bringing Christ into my sessions is important to me.

As an experienced Christian Counselor and ordained pastor, over the last 15 years I’ve been blessed to help hundreds of men find hope and healing using both psychological and Biblical principles. I believe that Christ is the ultimate source of hope and healing in this life. But I also believe that he’s given us the gift of rational minds, able to discern scientific and psychological truths built into the fabric of His amazing creation. My approach is grounded firmly in Scripture, but I don’t use Scripture as a weapon. You don’t need more guilt, but rather, a reminder of God’s promises and a compassionate guide to support you.

While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth.
