Although I am myself a practicing Christian, I prefer to see myself as a Counsellor who happens to be a Christian, rather than a counsellor who promotes a particular brand of Christian doctrine. I welcome all clients and honor their belief systems as being important to that person and quite possibly a vital aspect of their being helped by the counselling process. I will not pray with Clients unless they request it from me. I will not discuss religious beliefs unless requested to do so for the purpose of exploring issues that the client is presenting with.
