As a Bible following Christian who was raised in a Christian family, I have my foundations based on the Biblical teachings. The world is becoming a difficult place to live and understand by the day, let alone raising children (if you do!). Being Christians does not stop you from having those doubts or thoughts that could be frowned upon in a church or family set up, if you have them- IT IS OK, therapy with me can be a safe space to process them and even finding some answers together without judgement. Within a Biblical framework, counselling becomes an even richer process. A Biblical base simply means that the therapist believes that all human beings were created in the image of God, intended for relationship and designed with the capacity for growth and change. Forgiveness, personal empowerment, learning to love self and other are critical parts of the process.
