I am a Christian and I am passionate about helping other Christians work through their spiritual struggles, find their purpose in connection with God's will, and overall develop and deepen their relationship with God. **Please note that while I am a Christian, I do not do "Christian Counselling" for those who do not identify as a Christian and/or who do not want counselling from a Christian worldview. I accept and appreciate all religions, spirituality's and worldviews.

I have a personal faith in God and counsel in harmony with scriptural principles. My education includes counselling, nursing, biblical studies, theology and spirituality. While respecting my clients’ diverse backgrounds and expressions of faith, I use spiritual interventions that my clients are comfortable with.

I attended Providence Seminary for my counselling degree in order to learn how to integrate psychology and theology. I have found that both of these fields of study align and together they create a powerful method for healing. While I allow the client to initiate discussions of faith as they feel comfortable, I at all times conceptualize and treat client issues based upon my integrated belief in the Bible and psychology.

In our lives as Christians, the struggle often lies in aligning our faith with the challenges of daily life. My approach integrates your spiritual beliefs with psychological principles, providing a holistic path to healing. We'll explore issues in the light of your faith, drawing strength and guidance from it. When clients specifically request our counselling sessions to have a Christian focus I am able to integrate scriptual teaching & Christian counselling research within the broader field of psychotherapy assessment & treatment.
