I offer Christian/Biblical Counselling due to my own personal conversion from Islam to Christianity where I was saved after nearly dying from a fatal car accident on Deerfoot Trail in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My faith saved me not only from my physical injuries sustained in the accident and my chronic ill health of rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia but also from my emotional and psychological trauma and heartbreak. I was so filled with God's unconditional acceptance that healing came quickly after I surrendered and was baptized.

Parent/child counseling based on Christian principles will be offered upon the parent's request. Counselors are available at Keystone Child and Family Therapy who are rooted in Christian theology and offer practical parenting strategies based on this foundation. Biblical principles will be used to help strengthen family relationships and facilitate optimal development for children.

While not a Christian counsellor, I am intricately familiar with and understands the context of the Evangelical church. I understand how Biblical passages both support and potentially challenge our ways of being and seeing the world. For those who are deconstructing and seeking to reconstruct their faith relationship, this is a safe place to explore this journey. My research (unpublished) is focused on issues such as domestic violence, sexual offending and complex mental health within Evangelical contexts.
