Couples who work with me most often benefit from working through issues to determine the next step in their relationships. Couples benefit from conflict resolution, improved intimacy and trust, better communication, more support and respect, and less feeling overwhelmed, under appreciated or under loved. I offer couple's checkups (snapshots of where you are currently at in your relationship) by using the #1 relationship assessment tool. I also offer couple's counseling for 1 (for when your partner won't come to therapy). Couples report relief that I never tell them if they should break up or stay together, but help them figure it out on their own.

I work with couples to help them solve the issue that may be getting in between them. I am certified with the Prepare-Enrich marriage, marriage, and couples counseling counseling program and assessment. This program starts out with a unique 195 question assessment for each partner in a relationship and provides a unique assessment/evaluation of your relationship and productive tools we can use to prepare for marriage, enrich your marriage, or even save your marriage.

While I believe marriage is the best option for a man and woman living together, I realize that's not always the couples' choice. Some couples successfully cohabitate for many years, and frequently raise healthy families in the process. Just like married couples, cohabitating couples have problems stemming from poor communication, finances, work stress, flirtations/affairs, etc. And just like married couples, the skills for dealing with these problems areas are the same. I welcome the opportunity to help traditional couples develop healthier relationship that hopefully may result in marriage.
