The life of a couple goes threw different experiences and difficulties through the couple's life. Those ups and downs are what bond or separate the couple depending on how they are handled. But most important is the kind of attachment under which the couple relates and engages in the different moments of their lives. For the couple it is important to learn to communicate properly to one another to prevent or heal difficulties

Couples can often become fixated on repairing their partners’ behavior and waiting for the other to change before feeling content in the relationship. However, in my work with couples, I have found it fruitful to explore how each person in the relationship is contributing to a dynamic that they would like to change. I also believe that therapy should be a space where each person can express their views and feel validated and accepted by their partner(s). As a therapist, I work primarily from an attachment perspective with individuals and couples.
