I have been working with women who have been suffering from eating disorders, sub clinical eating issues, and body shame issues since the early 1990's when I began my career at an inpatient eating disorder / substance abuse unit in Atlanta. My approach to eating disorders and body issues is influenced by the precepts of Acceptance Commitment Therapy. I work with women in cultivating a relationship of loving kindness with the "skin they're in", regardless of weight, age or shape.
