We all experience loss in our lives and grieve those losses in various ways. From lost jobs or relationships to the overwhelming emptiness at the death of a child or other beloved family member. It can be tough. There is no time limit to grief. Give yourself permission to grieve fully and allow those feelings the time and compassion they deserve. However, if depression deepens and your grief becomes so debilitating that it keeps you from being with those you love or prevents you doing what you love, talk to someone who will help you get back on your feet. Find some peace of mind while still keeping alive those precious memories you wish to keep. You are not alone. Call for help.

When a person loses a loved one, whether it be a close family member, a pet or a friend, the feelings that are associated with the loss can be crippling. Just completing every day tasks can feel like a mountain that is impossible to climb. With guidance and support, it is possible to move forward in a healthy manner and gain the pleasure back into your life.

I will work with you individually and may also offer group therapy to explore and process your grief and to gain skills in managing the emotions that accompany your grief. I will facilitate your ability to gain greater understanding of the grief process in general, to understand your own specific grief process, to identify your current needs, and to increase your skills in communicating your needs to others in order to get them met.
