One of the hardest things in life is experiencing the loss of someone or something so close to us. Whether you are mourning the loss of a loved one, a friend, a pet, or a major change in your life such as a traumatic event, developing a chronic health condition or a loss of a job, it's important to have a safe and comfortable space to work through your feelings. I will support you as you navigate through the stages of grief, and adapt to the changes life has brought your way. If you have lost someone close to you, I will help you find meaningful ways for you to honor their memory, as well as help you identify community resources to support you in your healing process.

Looking for a change? Online counseling is convenient, effective, efficient, and confidential.
Grief and loss is, unfortunately, a normal part of living. There is no single "correct" way to grieve: different cultures and even individuals from the same culture grieve differently. The only consistent feature is that grief takes time. The most effective thing anyone can do for someone grieving is to be there—to listen, to empathize, to walk along with the grief. There is no "fixing" grief. But counseling can help prevent normal grief from developing into major depression or other mental health conditions.
