I have a certificate at the Center for Modern psychoanalytic studies in NY. I will deliver accessible, high quality, fiscally sound, evidence based knowledge to a diverse population. Here you will discover your voice, and find what needs to be fulfilled in your life. We can relate your anger, and anxiety to many areas that might be interfering with you moving forward.

Individual adults and couples tell me that I am unlike most other therapists that they have worked with and that they feel like I work very hard with them. My clients tell me that they feel supported and comfortable in our sessions and that I have the ability to keep track of the important details of their lives. Our work pays dividends to you as you develop lifelong tools to: manage conflict, improve communication, lower stress, and reduce anxiety and depression. We will work together to help you become empowered with the confidence to take care of yourself while also “juggling” life’s commitments, resulting in you finally getting the life that you want.

The word "psychotherapy" gives a picture that an old man with a beard will analyze you from behind a couch. While not disrespecting that form of intervention, my concept of being a psychotherapist is to provide understanding of the psychology of they way our minds function while using this knowledge to provide incite into why we are needing help. I have extensively studied various forms of therapy and have integrated what works for the person as a whole. My approach is humanistic. This means that understanding the place you are in and relating to your feelings validates your experience. We all need that to trust ourselves to create change.

Psychotherapy is a space for you that should feel safe and comfortable enough to talk about the thoughts, feelings, situations, and behaviors that are most upsetting to you, as well as to share your successes and desires. Each person needs something different to create that environment; and I will listen to what you need. Feeling comfortable with your therapist and keeping open lines of communication are two vital components for psychotherapy to be useful - so it is very important to find a therapist who is a good match for you. Call or come in for a consultation: If you do not feel I can be helpful, I will assist you in identifying another therapist or treatment that will meet your needs.

Sometimes it can be difficult to manage your stress or painful emotions. You may feel lost, confused or overwhelmed by sadness. You may feel as though you’ve lost your way. Psychotherapy can provide valuable support and guidance from someone with an objective point of view. I am committed to listening with an empathic ear and providing a trusting, supportive environment to help you heal. In an atmosphere of openness and acceptance, we will explore the distressing emotions, negative voices and destructive patterns that hold you back, and help you access new, healthier responses that create a bridge towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

James Hillman once said, "We've had a hundred years of psychotherapy and the world is getting worse." While there are many occasions where the validation and listening endemic to psychotherapy makes sense, there are times where we over assume that "feeling better" and "changing behavior" are the same. Grey Matters International, Inc. goes after the forgotten brain laws to behavior change that therapists miss when processing hours and hours of dialogues with people. Utilizing a cutting edge technology to facilitate the emotional process of change, we can make the therapy process way more effective, faster, and with less money spent. Psychotherapy is the use of psychological methods, particularly when based on regular personal interaction to help a person change and overcome problems. Psychotherapy aims to improve an individual’s well-being and mental health, to resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts or emotions and to improve relationships and social skills. There are many psychotherapy techniques we use and incorporate to help our client’s manage their specific needs and symptoms.
