I provide brief solutions-focused psychotherapy to help clients assess personal and professional functioning, clarify goals, and strengthen social and emotional skills. I specialize in brief online relationship counseling. Online counseling allows clients to seek help as needed, engage in therapy at a schedule that's convenient to them, and keep their counselor as they progress through life. I work with LGBTQ and hetero clients on individual, couple, and alternative relationship concerns. Clients explore issues that impact their professional and personal relationships, including communication, power dynamics, and intimacy. I accept US$ and cryptocurrencies.

Psychotherapy is the science based art of understanding and alleviating pain; in recent decades it has also become about promoting and advancing meaning and experiences of joy. In my practice I first do a caring and comprehensive evaluation to make sure that I understand each person's unique story and situation. I then kindly partner with my clients in setting measurable goals so that we keep the work accountable and so that we know when we are done. I then collaborate with my clients in choosing the science-based therapy that stands the best chance of alleviating their pain, and helping them to make the most out of this lavish banquet that surrounds us all, as quickly as possible.

In the most general sense, psychotherapy is the relationship between a client and therapist in order to cope with daily living stressors as well as helping individuals reach their full potential. There are a variety of psychotherapy approaches, but our practice provides and eclectic approach, utilizing aspects from various psychotherapy orientations.

Psychotherapy treats mental health problems. Mental health providers consider individual situations, physical symptoms and environmental circumstances and often interact with the patient before determining professional techniques that will be integrated into treatment. Individual sessions and/or group sessions are reasonable directions that can be implemented in the healing process. Originally trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist I now use a variety of talk therapy techniques. People seeing me can definitely expect me to listen, to encourage them to tell me about themselves, especially how they came to be the way they are, how they want to be, think or feel differently. I do not prescribe or tell people what to do. Some of what I offer has an instructional feel as I do use imagery, cognitive or behavioral techniques. While I am a Christian pastor I am sensitive to people of all faiths, respect their traditions and DO NOT impose my faith upon them. I very rarely include prayer or mention scriptures to people and DO NOT consider any faith a "magic bullet".

James Hillman once said, "We've had a hundred years of psychotherapy and the world is getting worse." While there are many occasions where the validation and listening endemic to psychotherapy makes sense, there are times where we over assume that "feeling better" and "changing behavior" are the same. Grey Matters International, Inc. goes after the forgotten brain laws to behavior change that therapists miss when processing hours and hours of dialogues with people. Utilizing a cutting edge technology to facilitate the emotional process of change, we can make the therapy process way more effective, faster, and with less money spent.
