Also, we focus on development of alternate coping skills with stressors and creating connections with others in support for recovery. In addition, Retreat focuses on teaching how to communicate with others in a healthy manner and how to re-build trust in relationships and managing emotions.

By looking at one’s early life with an eye to understanding how those experiences may have felt to a young child, the therapeutic process helps to develop self compassion and a broader perspective.
