The goal of psychotherapy is to help a person find out how to live life to the fullest. Therefore struggles and stressors in a patients' life must be dealt with and healed in order to begin the journey towards a more fulfilled life. This means clarifying, with the patient, their specific goals, dreams, and hopes for their life while identifying and treating the barriers that keep them from leading a fulfilled and satisfied life. I use resource tapping, mindfulness, and EMDR and other techniques to help the patient heal.
