The Potter's House Initiative is a proposed program to address homelessness in Calvert County. The plan involves purchasing a building to house those without a home and offer services to help residents get back on their feet. The initiative specifically targets men who have a drug addiction, as well as those who have become homeless after being involved in the criminal justice system. A 12-month aftercare program would ensure all those receiving treatment are clean and have the job and social skills required to rejoin society and be a productive member of the community.
