In 2011, overall rates for suicide within the Hispanic community were significantly lower than for non-Hispanics. However, national suicide rates for Hispanic girls in grades 9-12 was more than 70% higher than for Caucasian girls in the same age group.3 With such alarming suicide statistics among adolescent girls, there is a clear need for suicide crisis help in Ladera Ranch, California.
