Current Initiatives

Talbot House Ministries is fighting homelessness in Lakeland through participation in Habitat for Humanity, by providing emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and daytime safe havens. Support groups and mental health support, as well as medical and dental services, are also part of Talbot House Ministries’ advocacy programs for the homeless. Their Long Term Renewal Program is an ongoing initiative which is aimed at helping the homeless of Lakeland become self-sufficient. Their programs are intended for anyone without a home.
