Reiki & Its Benefits
Reiki is a technique for healing and stress reduction that is administered through the use of light touch. It is a simple yet powerful form of hands-on healing that stimulates the immune system and supports the body in taking care of itself.
Studies have shown that Reiki produces positive measurable results. Reiki can reduce blood pressure and heart rates, assisting the body in returning to its natural healthy state. It is excellent for stress management, pain management, & sleep issues. Case studies and exploratory research have also shown that Reiki improves pain control and quality of life in cancer patients. Reiki is considered a complimentary treatment to conventional medical care.
Other reported benefits include: relief from stress and body tension, quicker healing of injuries and common illnesses, increased vitality and energy, greater emotional stability, ease of movement, sharpened mental awareness, increased creativity, decreased negative side effects from conventional medications, a deeper spiritual connection, and an increased overall sense of wellbeing.
In Reiki levels 1 & 2 you will learn:
How to give a Reiki session to yourself and to others
The history, principles, and uses of Reiki
Tools for giving distance Reiki sessions
Practical tips on working with clients, especially those with chronic or terminal illness.
