Several of our counselors have specific training in Pastoral Counseling which is the "Gold Standard" when you are seeking out Christian Counseling. As a Christ-follower I understand the role spirituality plays in all dimensions of life. In fact, one of my favorite verses contains these words of Christ, "I have come that they may have life and have it to the full." (John 10:10) In order to have a full life it takes work on God's part and ours. God's virtues of grace, mercy, and unconditional love are powerful motivators for transformation. As we embrace these virtues, God empowers us to live a full life. I offer Christian counseling to individuals, couples, and/or families who value their relationship with Christ and understand that he plays a primary role in the change they seek.

While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth. For us, the work is more about truth and transparency of Christ's message and working on the natural laws of accountability and decision making that evolves from that. If one honors God's natural laws of reaping and sowing around the decisions one makes, one is indeed living Scripture to its fullest. My relationship with God is who I am. I began going to Willow Creek Community Church when it was only 500 people. Today it hosts over 30,000 on a weekend. I have a strong biblical background as I also attended a small Christian college, Azusa Pacific University, for my bachelor's degree where I took many theology classes. At Willow Creek my husband & I helped launch the DuPage campus, led the Marriage Matters ministry for 4 years, and have served in many other areas. My goal is as a Christian counselor is to create an safe place where you know you matter to God so that you can work through you pains, hurts, and relationship concerns.
