Faith is such a huge part of a person and often times people feel like they are asked to divorce their spiritual health from their mental health. From my perspective this is not possible. While I am not here to replace your form of spiritual guidance, I am here to help you integrate your faith into who you are as a person. Whether it is addressing trauma's experienced as a result of people from our faith, or finding ways to more fully embrace our faith for healing, I am here to help you see how fulfilling faith can be when we allow all parts of ourselves to interact with it.

For those who wish to address spiritual issues and personal faith in their healing process, I provide a non-judgmental environment to allow God to work in your life. I have a background in ministry and a strong personal Christian faith as well as Biblical training. Looking at life from God's perspective provides a basis for growth and change. Building your trust during difficult times and sharing your spiritual journey in therapy can open a wider path of healing and change.

If you desire to integrate your Christian faith and Biblical understanding into the counseling process, I can help. I have a background in ministry and missions with students in the United States, with government and diplomatic leaders in Washington, D.C and overseas in Europe. Our emotional and spiritual lives are closely connected and by focusing on both a deeper and fuller healing is possible. Our God is a relational God who is near to the brokenhearted and full of compassion. I seek to integrate His love and compassionate connection along with my own into my psychotherapy.
